Academic Integrity -- Consistent with our mission of academic and personal excellence, students are expected to submit their own work in response to assignments. All forms of academic dishonesty, including plagiarism, interfere with the students' ability to develop and refine their reading, thinking and communication skills. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, direct copying of another person's work without using quotation marks and without citing the author; using the ideas but not the exact words of another (paraphrasing) without providing the citation; and submitting work of another person as if it is one's own. It is the sincere belief of the faculty and staff of Saint Joseph Prep. that all students can choose to practice the skills of academic honesty.
